フィードバックを提供するThis charming little spot features a gift shop and a small museum. I ordered an oat latte along with a vegan cheese and tomato toastie, and I was thrilled to find vegan cheese available! They also offered two vegan soups on the menu. In an effort to minimize waste, they ask whether you’d like coleslaw (which isn’t vegan), crisps, and a side salad with the toastie. The display cabinet was filled with delightful cakes, although unfortunately, none of them were vegan. However, they did mention that some of them are gluten-free! The staff were absolutely wonderful, and this restaurant is a true asset to the local community. I’ll definitely be returning!
Additionally, the building houses a shop selling local products, a lovely museum with exhibitions that share the history of Ness, and a well-stocked archive with historical records from the region. Comunn Everydraidh Nis serves as a true community hub, proudly highlighting its bilingual nature, with signs in both Gàidhlig and English. It’s definitely worth a visit! I have a lot of love for this special place. Absolutely brilliant! (Updated from the previous review on May 27, 2021)
