The workers here are very rude and disrespectful.I asked for a slice of pizza and the guy behind the register just laughed at me and looked at me like I'm stupid.I didn't know it was somehow wrong to order a slice of pizza just because you don't like it.Grow up, dude.

I entered this particular 7-11 around midnight, and the overnight worker recognized my husband and me, as we have visited this location frequently. I’ve always used the restroom there without issue before. However, this time was different. It felt like an act of discrimination when he stood by, watching my husband at the counter while we attempted to purchase some items. Instead of being accommodating, he threatened to call the police on me for trying to use the bathroom. I’ve always considered 7-11 a convenient stop for food and drinks, but the rudeness and disrespect exhibited by the overnight worker were shocking, especially since he had seen us there multiple times. I remember our first encounter with him when he followed us around the store as if we were thieves, hovering over us without any reason. He was consistently unhelpful, never making fresh coffee at night, and often lacking fresh food. I can’t help but feel it was clearly discriminatory, as his behavior suggested that he was looking down on us. I’ve made the decision to never return to this 7-11 again, especially considering I was pregnant and nearly had an accident. Any woman can understand what that feels like. Unfortunately, this is the only store we have in Islandia. On a positive note, I want to thank the 7-11 on Veterans Highway, next to Dave and Busters and Walmart, for their kindness. They allowed me to use their bathroom, and I will definitely be returning there from now on, as the staff was friendly and accommodating. I truly don’t understand why some people choose to work in public-facing jobs if they are not going to treat customers with respect. How I was treated and what I was told was simply unacceptable, especially considering I regularly spend money at this store. When I attempted to mention this to him, stating I would call the manager in the morning, his dismissive response was, “Call him, I don’t care.” I left feeling humiliated and discriminated against, and it’s an experience I won’t forget.

It seems that those leaving negative reviews are overly sensitive. This restaurant is quite clean and has a friendly atmosphere.

I visited this restaurant last night, October 2, 2022, around 7:20 PM. There were two male employees: one Black and the other non-Black. As a Black woman with natural afro hair, I was taken aback when the Black employee began singing "chi chi chia" at me, seemingly mocking my hair. I tried to ignore it, but I was hurt by his words, especially coming from someone who shares my background. It was disappointing and disrespectful to be treated that way in front of his coworker. I want to express how upsetting this was for me, and I regret not speaking up at the moment. I have decided that I will not return to this establishment.
