El Fenix - Irving

I love the design of the place, the atmosphere and the Mexican food. The food has great flavor and the waiters are very friendly, especially America and Mr. Gabriel who attended me with special affection and detail. They gave me good options, without a doubt it is a place I would always return to. I like that they take care of me and feel part of the house.

I visited this restaurant on Sundays with my favorite American waitress and she told me that she was trying the new dishes and she recommended the mole enchiladas. She knows that I'm from Puebla. Mole is #1 so she asked her waitress if they could prepare a dish for me. and wow delicious and recommended today I can say that El Fenix has a Mexican dish Thank you

The chips and sauce were good. I got the brisket enchiladas with queso. Very disappointed!!! It was mostly all queso and barely any meat. The waitress never checked on us after brought us our drinks. The food took forever.. about 45 to 50 minutes. It was only 4 of us. My son's tacos barely had any taco meat. Almost $13 plate.. I expected meat on there. It was just very disappointing, never again! Should have just gone to McDonald's!

I ordered a puff taco and my daughter ordered nachos. It took a long time and the place wasn't even half full. My taco was over cooked. Our server was just ok

I think it's just the irving location that sucks. Our waitress couldn't get our order right to Dave her life. Food looked grocery store microwaved.
