City Pizza Plus Wings - Irving

Thank goodness this place was open late! Good service and food.

The shrimp scampi was very disappointing the picture on Uber eats looked very good lots of color and seasoning with thin pasta (which I love). I got something that looks like a TV dinner with a mystery sauce that’s translucent and has no flavor. I alsoordered some mozzarella sticks the cheese was almost like a string cheese when you bite into it very rough and ridged. Mygirlfriend ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo it was decent but a bit salty but I can say it was edible (we ended up sharingit) She also got the jalapeño poppers which weren’t terrible but was basically just some cream cheese in a jalapeño that wasfried with little to no spice. I won’t be ordering from them again I was very disappointed. I ordered out so I could have agood meal that I didn’t have to make but unfortunately I should have just cooked at home.

This little gem is a hidden treasure. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly, providing excellent customer service. This is my second time ordering pizza from here, and it’s absolutely delicious! It’s a refreshing change from the cardboard-like pizza you’d find at Domino’s or Pizza Hut. Finding truly good pizza in Texas can be a challenge, but as a Chicagoan, I really appreciate their New York Italian approach. I will definitely be back!

Pizza and wings—it's right in the name! The pizza was really good, although I ordered stuffed crust and got a regular crust instead. Aside from that, the staff were friendly during pickup, and I appreciated the complimentary soda. Thank you for the experience; I’ll definitely be back!

Okay... I just placed my first order, and 15 minutes later, the delivery person called me to ask if I was planning to leave a tip before he arrived. It felt like he wouldn't deliver if I wasn't tipping. I really hope the food is amazing, considering you seem to judge your customer service based on whether or not there’s a cash tip involved. Shaking my head.
