フィードバックを提供するGina's Pizza is an excellent spot for high-quality pizza and pasta. The gnocchi was a bit softer than I prefer, but they were flavorful and really soaked up the sauce beautifully. The meatballs are also quite large and fresh; when I ordered them, they initially served just one and quickly returned with a second one after apologizing for the mix-up. As for the pizza, which the restaurant is known for, it was absolutely amazing. The option to change the cheese is a nice bonus, and the pizza itself was not greasy at all, depending on what you choose. The sun-dried tomatoes added a pleasantly sweet flavor, and the goat cheese was fantastic.
Nice counters offer a vibe that feels like a dine-in experience, complemented by a fantastic terrace for pleasant weather. The food truly tastes fresh and homemade. I get the impression that they don’t use a microwave, which enhances the freshness of every dish. I will definitely return!
Although I don’t reside in Irvine, I made a great decision to try Gina’s nearly four years ago, and now I can’t help but return every time I'm in town. While they’re famous for their pizza, I highly recommend not overlooking their salads and calzones. The food is exceptional, ranking among the best I’ve ever tasted. They also have a spacious bar featuring an excellent selection of craft beers on tap. But what truly elevates the experience is the outstanding service. Kay, Ryan, and the rest of the team are fantastic—attentive, friendly, and always smiling. They create a perfect atmosphere for any occasion. The hype surrounding this place is absolutely justified!
A great place to stop for a slice or a drink and hang out. There's much more than pizza on the menu including vegan options. The outdoor seating is good for larger groups and the bar style seating is perfect for solo diners looking to get in and out quick between classes. It's comfortable and casual but parking can be difficult near campus. Bring your friends and share a pie.
I noticed the announcement that this restaurant is closed (there was a place called Gina in Newport Beach that closed last year, but it’s not related to the Gina’s pizza chain that operated in the location for 33 years). That couldn’t be further from the truth! Gina’s is alive and well, serving delicious homemade Italian cuisine. The pizzas are handcrafted, with freshly made sauces and top-quality toppings. The menu also features a variety of fresh salads and sandwiches, all prepared daily. Their beer selection is impressive, offering options like Stella, Newcastle, and Guinness. On Monday and Thursday nights, they have discounted pitcher specials. The prices for a 60 oz. pitcher range from $8 to $10! If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine, Gina’s Pizza Pastaria is the place to go!
