Fish District Irvine

I've visited this restaurant several times, and the food is consistently great! However, the take-out experience can be a bit unreliable. They've missed items on more than one occasion (ah, life in Irvine!). That said, during my most recent visit, they actually refunded me for the missing item as promised, which was a nice surprise!

Do yourself a favor and grab lunch here! The poke was SO FRESH and the fish and chips and calamari were to die for! Amazing service, awesome staff, great vibe.

I went here recently with a friend.He ordered the Classic Fish and Chips while I ordered the Combo box (which was fish and shrimp fries).In hindsight, I would have ordered the classic fish and chips. That seemed like the better value. My friend got 3 pieces of fish and the fries.My combo box included one piece of fish, 3 shrimp, and fries.Fries were good and crispy.The shrimp tasted fine.. and the batter ways ok. The shrimp was crispy.Finally the fish was okay. The batter was okay. It was crispy.Tastewise, both shrimp and fish were just okay.Would I go here again?... it's hard to say. fries and fish for $13.50 or more???I think I might pass.

Great lunch food! The fish and chips were perfectly cooked and had delicious flavor! First time I tried Portabella chips and I was impressed by the amazing flavor and texture which is why I highly recommend it!

Great place for fast fish tacos. New England clam chowder is awesome too.
