Cucina Enoteca Irvine

I'm here a few times now. I sat outside and at the bar. Every time the service was friendly and efficient. The food is consistent every time, well cooked and tasteful. You play beautiful 80s at night. The drinks are overpriced as everywhere, but good quality. This is your best option for a pre-film date food or after film meal, or just a weekend day shopping trip food. I would say it is the most common choice of the family when we go to the Spectrum, and there is a competition there.

Great meal with great advice from our server, Tracy. Everything we had was excellent from the stuffed zucchini flowers to the Italian chopped salad suggested by Tracy, and the pizza, pasta and the brussel sprouts. The hibiscus lemonade was refreshingly sweet. The music was particularly great as it was something out of my playlist with songs mostly from the '80s. I think this has to be the best Italian in the area.

I came back to Cucina after a long time. Pasta and Pizza are the best here! Our waiter was very nice and smiley. Unfortunately they put a host at the front of the restaurant, his name is Ever. He was very moody and grumpy.

Came here for a lunch meeting. Food was great. I've been here before and the food was great then too. Service was mediocre, but honestly I've come to notice this is a trend. I know there is heavy turnover and lots of new staff at a number of restaurants so, especially the last couple years, I do lower my expectations. With that said, I think it took half an hour after finishing our food before we were even asked if we wanted boxes or dessert and basically only because we flagged him down. Then another half hour to get a bill. Normally no big, but when it's a lunch on a work day, that is a lot of extra time spent just sitting. Nevertheless, pizzas are yummy, pastas are delicious, and they have lots of good dessert options. Rice pudding was nice and lighter with the added citrus.

Had a reservation but still had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Being a Friday night, that was expected. They offer a variety of dishes not just pasta. The drinks were a bit pricey for the size but good overall. The food came to the table quickly and the server was attentive the whole time.
