Ὀφτή Πατάτα - Irakleion

Really beautiful place with amazing people. we loved eating that was much cheaper and better than in the center. the owner loves the kitchen. everything was homemade typical Greek cuisine. I never had better eating during my visit to Greece.

When we walked around heraklion, we found this little restaurant. eating was great, especially calamari and tzatziki (octopus was a little gum-like, but it did not overshadowed the whole meal.) also the free starter and a tasting of local raki was a pleasant surprise. the hospitality of this place and the owner are simply amazing, I have never experienced such a friendliness in a restaurant. this is a must, while in heraklion, a place that really shows Greek hospitality and friendly atmosphere. I really hope to be back and I recommend to all those who visit to take some more steps to experience this place.

I had been introduced to this box by friends who were pleased, but unfortunately there was a black egg in the salad that I was really disgusted by, it seemed spoiled to me The fries smelled like seafood and the burger was burnt and of course the potato you brought us was cold...unfortunately I paid and left you just had a very nice warm environment it's a shame you don't have a good kitchen
