Roost - Inuvik

I never expected to find delicious Chinese food in the Arctic Circle, but The Roost surprised me. Their menu is extensive, offering a variety of options to warm you up on a chilly evening. The atmosphere is welcoming and practical for a comfortable dining experience. We enjoyed our meal so much that we returned the following day for some poutine and a donair.

Picked up pizza the first night, can not go wrong with that. Had the donairs the second night, they were great, done to perfection and good portions. Very pleasant staff... and remembered that we were going to Tuk (previous night asked when we picked up pizza) and asked how it went.

Good burgers and fries. The pizza is supposed to be the best but we never tried it. They were super busy with take out orders. Very friendly people.

We had dinner at The Roost after spending 12 days in Yukon in tents eating backpacking food. We were amazed at the variety of different things on the menu. Some of us had pizza, burgers, lasagne, fried chicken and more. The service was great. Would definitely return if we get back to Inuvik.

We had dinner at the roost and of all the restaurants in Inuvik this would be the one I would go back to. The service was good and the food portions were generous and I thought the prices were reasonable.
