Jen's Fish & Chips - Innisfil

We do our week day exercise at east end rec center and a group of us decided to get together every third or fourth week to have fish and chips and we ended up at jens and i must say that tha halibut we ordered was very tasty and that it was so meaty that i had to take the second piece home and at home my husband just put it in the toaster oven and it came up real crispy outside and very tender but meaty on the inside therefore we have decided to go there again this week it is very hard to find a fish and chip place that gives you the feeling that ( Boy this fish was tasty and the batter was crip and there was actually lots of quality fish for the money) My husband just loved it . Now he dont have to drive to duckworth in orrilia , from now on its Jen"s

Good price for fish and chips. Fish is excellent. Chips are good 90% of the time. Very quick service, friendly staff.

We used to go to Jen's at least once every two weeks for a pick up or would eat in (at the Cove) the same fish and chips. I highly recommended the fish and chips to everyone but not anymore for a couple of reasons. One the price has got ridiculous? I had recommended the location to a neighbor and they told me their chips were greasy and tasted like they had been sitting and double fried! They phoned to complain and were told the next time they ordered they could have free chips. I had the same problem, gave them another try as the owner wasn't there and thought that might be the problem, but the next time we still had greasy horrible chips - fish was great though. Went a 3rd time and told them about the chips and they said they would tell the owner and when we went to pay we noticed the pay increase. It was such an increase we refused the order.

The fish and chips were to die for. The portions were very large. They were wrapped really well and stayed crisp to have them a home.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, and the food is delicious. The fish is lightly battered and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be returning.
