It does earn its rating as the best Mexican food in the valley!

There was flies constantly on the food due to outdoor seating with no fans or screens server was not really paying attention to our table. Came here for a late mothers day brunch and all my family disliked their plates. I personally loved mine which was the carne con Chile plate. My mom had the asada with cactus and her meat was tough, my dad and cousin had the coctel de camaron and they both thought it was lacking flavor. I don't think I'd come back again.

I love old institutions, and was excited to see a Mexicna food restaurant about as old as I am. Loved the photos on the wall, but the service and ambiance fell short of the warm hearthy feeling I was hoping for; it felt more like a local bar without particular history.The food was fine; I got the Mexican-American food I wanted/expected, but I didnt feel 4-decades worth of care or skill.

This place was recommended to us by two different people. It did not disappoint. The food and people were great.

Authentic Mexican. The shrimp stuffed peppers are the best.
