Plus, ordering through the app isn't available, which can be quite frustrating. While you do earn single stars for your transactions, that's about all you get. The place tends to be busy but rarely hits peak crowd levels, so you can usually get in and out in about 6 to 8 minutes.
I recently visited a restaurant where two employees were on duty, and the atmosphere was calm with no line. I noticed numerous signs on the shelves promoting a 30% discount on cups. However, when it came time to pay, I discovered that only selected cups were eligible for the discount, and unfortunately, mine wasn’t one of them. The signs did not clearly specify which cups were included in the promotion, despite the fact that all the shelves highlighted in the advertising contained the cups I had chosen. Additionally, I wasn't given a receipt, and one of the employees rudely asked me, "Are you finished yet?" I do not recommend this restaurant due to its misleading advertising and poor customer service.
The staff were rather unwelcoming, and I was charged extra for my drink. I've visited this location twice, and on both occasions, my coffee cost considerably more than at any other Starbucks.
I don't drink coffee, but if I did, I would consider this chain to be rather pricey. That said, it's worth mentioning that the founder, Howard Schultz, had a modest background and grew up in poverty. He now makes efforts to help those in need.
It was a fantastic boost to my day. The staff were cheerful and quick to assist.
