Don Diego's Of Indian Wells

I had a wonderful lunch with my father today. I ordered the combination plate with one item, specifically one chicken enchilada served with rice and beans, and it was absolutely delicious. The enchilada was packed with flavor, and the addition of paprika slices enhanced it nicely. I especially enjoyed the fluffy rice dotted with small green onions, and the refried beans were tasty as well! I will definitely return the next time I'm in Indian Wells!

We've been visiting Don Diego for years! The scents are just as we remember, and the margaritas are fantastic! There's a nice outdoor terrace as well. However, the atmosphere could use some improvement; it feels quite dated and reminds you of 1995. Is that really a bad thing? Not necessarily... It’s clean enough. Overall, the ambiance is just average. This is from a local who has been going there since 1991.

We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious this restaurant was. It offers authentic Mexican food with excellent service and incredibly tasty dishes. My favorite was the chicken steak fajitas—such a treat!

It went in and was asked if we had a reservation that we didn't have, but they could sit down. We waited some time for someone to take our order. The waiter was friendly, but the food was just okay was not very impressed.

Service was excellent. Food was delicious and did not disappoint. Portions were very generous. Would absolutely return.
