Cusinela Delicious Food - Independence

Consomé taste like it was either watered down or just oil, cabbage and onion. It embarrassing that they would sell this. They go my order wrong. When the owner is there. The food is point but when she’s not it’s really taking a toll on the business. I don’t think I will return which is unfortunate because when she was new to the parallel bar she was great. Also her menu is outdated. You order food and expect to pay what is posted but her prices are much higher.

This place is delicious! My wife and my favorite Mexican food in the area. She adores the fresh sopes. I’m a carne asada man myself. Owner is very nice (Don’t believe the haters just because she doesn’t offer a fake, Dutch Bros style of service); She’s cool af. Menu is a tad confusing but not a big deal. Great location to grab a beer and chill too.

Owner not very friendly and not willing to withhold items off taco, even though I explained I couldn’t have certain foods. Prices on menu not correct or accurate. Appears that no regular maintenance is being done and starting to appear rundown

This used to be one of my favorite food trucks and the best Mexican food in Independence. I'm sure the food will always be great, but I can no longer support them. When their board states a price for an item but yet charged $3 more than the listed price, and then argued about, this is an issue.I do understand raising prices to offset increased food costs, but silently raising prices without those price increases being reflected on the menu is not good business. This is basically false advertising, probably illegal, and probably they should be reported as doing so.Make sure you check what you are being charged if you order from them before paying.Their mole is great, and their jalapeño poppers, but buyer beware, you may be getting charged more than expected if you go by their menu board.

Took an hour to get our food. Other people went around to get Lonneys. They ordered, got their food and finished their entire meals and still after that it took another half hour.
