Portions for everyone at the table were generously sized. Eat half and take home/hotel room the remainder. Husband ordered a breakfast platter and raved about it. Coffee was abundant!
This is my second time at this restaurant and this might be one of my favorite new go-to spots in the area! They serve breakfast all day and have a little bit of everything on their menu! We ordered Chicken Fried steak with mashed potatoes and cheesy grits, As well as the “bear” breakfast combo with eggs, French toast, sausage, and a side of hash browns. Both platters were massive with more than enough portions. The french toast were soft, perfect texture and the chicken fried steak was really good as well. The price was fair coming in at $38 with all the food. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I like the decor here! It’s bear-themed to the extreme, but cute nonetheless. This even extends to the exterior. The place could be kept in cleaner condition (dining areas and restroom). The staff probably can’t keep up with the sloppiness of the clientele, but still, it detracts somewhat. The food is very nice, and the helpings are extra size/good value. Most dishes could probably be split. The coffee is pretty good, though I’m not sure it’s worth $3.49 per cup (don’t believe the coffee 5¢ sign). The service is very pleasant and attentive. You also might have to wait for a table during peak hours.Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian optionsParking: Parking lot can be filled to capacity at times
Just came here for dinner and it was wonderful. I'd tried a bit of their food though delivery but this was our first time coming. My partner got a huge breakfast and loved all of it. He says they have the best pancakes, but I think the spicy sausage is the real star of the show. I got the sourdough parmesan burger. 10/10. I really liked the fries, too.But the best part, in my opinion, was the service. I can't remember her name but she's a brunette who said she recently moved here from New Orleans. She was super friendly and clearly knows how to serve tables. Quick and efficient. The young hostess was also really nice. Also, the baby clothes and slippers for sale are so adorable
I've eaten here a couple of times, and the food is just ok. The open face turkey sandwich is just sliced deli meat with gravy poured all over it- It wasn't very good. The Tri-Tip Dip would be worth a visit. Meat loaf was ok. Our server was nice. Overall, the service has been good here, but the food is mediocre.
