Definitely a restaurant I'd be visiting a lot. I really like the Boneless Bangus ala Pobre and the Mozza Lizzas. We've tried the other food on their menu and most of them were good. Haven't tried their desserts yet though.
This review if for their manila bay branch. Not good value at all. Ordered a pancake and bacon. The pancake was huge but the bacon was barely a slice of so paper thin the tissue was thicker. In whistlestop your rice is gone and you still have so much bacon. Not recommending the pancake and bacon breakfast. Service was excellent though and staff very courteous.
This is my first time to write a review for a particular restaurant ZUCCHERO SM SOUTHMALL branch. I'd like to post this review for the following reasons: 1. Everything here is just good, literally the ambience, location, and definitely the food. 2. Although pricey, you will absolutely be satisfied with anything that you will order quality quantity combined. 3. They have attentive and friendly service crew, very proactive. 4. Lastly and most importanly, all other branches of Zucchero are very far from my place. This is my family's favorite resto, we just don't want it to close after almost a year of operation in the mall. Apparently, it opened last December 2014, and surprisingly, it does not capture a lot of restaurant goers. Whatever the reason may be, I'm writing this so others, esp. SM Southmall goers, may visit and try Zucchero. One of their best sellers is pork sisig, definitely a cut above the rest. They also offer pastries that are oh sooo goooood, you should try one! The store is located at the lower ground of the mall. Some restos are being put up beside Zucchero so it shouldn't take you long to find it. I'm not paid here or anything. I'm just deeply concerned for the said restaurant. Hope my review helps! Spread the word please!!!
My in-laws brought home some really yummy mini pizzas from Zucchero, this new restaurant in SM Southmall one day and since then, I made a mental note to eat there sometime. So when one of my girlfriends asked me to catch up last Saturday, I grabbed the chance to check the place out. For a place that specializes in Filipino and Italian cuisine, I expected their pasta to be spectacular. But it was just okay; the carbonara was delicious, but the other pastas we ordered tasted a little odd. Too bad because we were really excited for the Bacon Chicken Ravioli but we knew something was wrong with it on our first bite. Their mini pizzas was still the best thing I've tasted in their menu. The staff were nice enough to replace our food when we said it tasted kind of odd, service was quick and the cakes looked promising, so I'd say this place earned itself another try.
