Giant Pizza King - Imperial Beach

A Southbay classic, Giant Pizza King restaurants are individually owned and operated so not all are the same. The IB 13th Street location is my favorite west of the 5. Long-term employees, fresh ingredients, good pizza and other Italian-American favorites. If you want consistency, decent prices and good food with good, fast service, CHECK IT. I go there multiple times a month. My favorite thing to order is the Fish n'Chips. Odd to me that they aren't served with lemon slices or malt vinegar, but their tartar sauce is lemony and delicious! Great fries too. PS- Al's Fries and Burgers (next door) is owned by the same family. It has allowed them to expand their kitchen and now they have an even LARGER amazing variety of Italian and Italian American foods. Burgers, shakes, salads, you name it!

I would’ve liked to have shown the pictures of Gyro meal I ordered but I was too hungry to remember! This place is definitely a major major go! Even when the guys are busy, cooking and preparing orders, they always take the time to have a conversation with you. The food is always delicious and hot! This is go to spot for a quick meal!

My favorite dish from this place is the calzone and the Greek salad.

It's almost a must-try to order the large pizza, preferably with pepperoni. By the way, it's simply exquisite. Perfect for takeout!
