Burg Kerpen - Illingen

Anyway a very beautiful historic place that is successfully completed with a modern restaurant analge. the service on our birthday party was very good and attentive, which today has more and more rare). we had a nice separate room and all were very satisfied with food and wines.

We were with a closed company due to a funeral there, so I can't say anything about eating because there was only coffee and cake. As far as ambiente is concerned, I found it very appealing. you sit comfortably and the environment invites you to stay. There are some sitting places with a small weiher that lies directly opposite. enough parking is also available. all in all I am not diligent to go there also to eat, then there are probably also five . we were there with a private party for a funeral so i can’t comment on the food as there was only coffee and cake. as for the ambiance, however, i found it very appealing. you sit and the environment invites you to linger. there is some seating outside with a small pond just across the road. sufficient parking spaces are available. all in all, i’m not averse to going there to eat, then there will probably be five .

Eating was really great and the price-performance ratio definitely fits. One sits both inside and outside cozy. Only minus was the inattentiveness of the operation that filled our empty glasses only on demand!

We had a cold-hot buffet, cost point per person approx. 38€, ordered for 50 guests. The performance was by no means fair to the significantly overpriced price as regards quality of food and presentation. You should have expected something better for the price. However, the service was routined and friendly.
