Al's Place - iKapa iNingizimu Afrika

We had a family dinner at Al's Place Rondebosch last night, which was our first visit after hearing numerous great reviews. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Alan, the owner, and a very friendly waitress. They made us feel right at home, and Alan made a point to check in on us and chat throughout our meal. The food was outstanding, both in flavor and presentation. We’re so glad we found this hidden gem of a family restaurant and will definitely be returning regularly.

A fantastic spot for dinner or just to enjoy coffee and liqueurs. The staff, as always, are incredibly attentive and friendly. The atmosphere feels very welcoming—great job, Al and team!

We celebrated our friend Carmen’s birthday at Al's Place Restaurant on Saturday, and it was a fantastic evening! The venue was lovely, the food was outstanding, and the music was a nostalgic journey filled with classic hits. This place is definitely worth a visit!

We were at Als for Xmas in July...we were a table of 14...the food and the service were outstanding...Al is so hands on...we will be back....
