North Hi-way Cafe - Idaho Falls

This place is a classic diner. Fantastic traditional breakfasts chicken fried steak and eggs, amazing corn beef hash . But most wonderful is the Rare Beef Sandwich. The best sandwich ever.

The food is good, coffee is the best. The wait staff can be hit or miss that is the only reason I don't give 5 stars. A couple of the gals are the nicest you'll ever met and they keep your drinks full. A couple seem extremely miserable and cannot keep your drink filled. Always enjoy eating here though, as did generations in my family!

Let me put it this way. There was a gentleman at the bar reading a newspaper and there were posters and signs all around supporting veterans and the staff was wonderful and the food was homemade and fresh and delicious. It felt like a little piece of America. We loved it and we will be back again and again and again

Great breakfast and the fried chicken is great. Home style cooking and large portions. Prices are reasonable and service is old fashion efficient with a little bit down home. We love it.
