The Waterfront - Hythe

I have visited this lovely place quite a few times and it’s always been a great experience!! 10/10 on everything

Was disappointed not too see the Jazz singer, but overall we had a lovely time

We had a really lovely experience at The Waterfront, Hythe. It was our first time attending in the evening and there was such a wide choice on the menu that evening our ‘fussy eater’ was happy. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. The staff were extremely helpful and were attentive without being intrusive throughout our visit. The food was beautifully presented. Although we were actually jealous each time another plate went out to other customers. We have already booked a return visit. If we had to find a single fault it would be that the chatter from customers occasionally drowned out the sound of the performer as they sang a wonderful selection of Motown and contemporary songs.

We went for the Friday evening Motown night but did not rate the singer at all! His Mike turned down very low so you could only hear the backing track and little of his voice! Preferred the Michael Bublee evening last time much more of a showman and great voice. Food okay but only fish choices on the specials menu. Shame because a lovely venue and attentive and friendly staff.
