I lost appetite after seeing the Florida Governors projection. Anyway, the food was good despite my main concern for the evening. Thr calamari was spicy and so was the chicken Bull Dak. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I wish the menu contained more grilled and non breaded options. Much of the menu is fried chicken, wings etc. I also dont remember seeing any fish filet options. I dont remember many teriaki chicken options either. Aside from the lack of diversity of the menu, the food they serve is good and I would recommend.
The visit to Bonchon was delightful. There are TV screens showing sports all around but this is not a sports bar and they don't pretend to be one. The food was great, medium prices but large portions and well presented. There is a nice representation of Korean foods with an American twist, as well as typical American food. The employees in the front are Korean so be prepared for the cultural difference. They are not intrusive preferring instead to not interrupt the guests. Definitely worth a try.
Upon entering the establishment it is dirty. No one greets you. I spoke and asked to place an order. When I paid for my order, I had to put the money in a box. The female took my money out the box with metal tongs. Additionally, when my order was ready, she held up the bag and nodded in my direction. I was not spoken to at all the entire time. I will not return to this location.
When people pay four dollars for kimchi coleslaw, please fill the container. I received two tablespoons of coleslaw in an order. Stop short changing your customers or I will never order from you again, and I order from you frequently. Being in a pandemic and restaurants being impacted heavily, you would think restaurants would go above and beyond to keep customers, NOT so. It's like Bonchon takes their customers for granted by not fully giving their customers what they pay for.
