Mattakeese Wharf Seafood - Hyannis Port

Just a short review. All the food is fresh and great. But the Baked stuffed Lobster is the best one in New England and even more impressive is the highest bar I have had be met consistently for the last 4. years. Adding on a few Allgash whites and I have found nirvana.

I dined here this past Saturday evening. Seems like a popular spot but our food was totally underwhelming. Grilled swordfish was dry and tasteless. Served on top of asparagus and grains that I couldn’t even eat. There were 2 orders of swordfish and both were very disappointing. The other meals was steamers that luckily were good so the whole table wasn’t a disaster. Salads were dry boring and forgettable. Our waitress noticed our plates full of food at the end of the meal and only asked if we needed boxes to go. Never inquired how everything was. I’m never going back there and I recommend you find another restaurant.

Had the best dinner there this evening and enjoyed the beautiful view and sunset! Can’t wait to go back.

I have been coming in for years and the food is always excellent as is the staff! You must try the bbq chicken pizza well done with a side of ranch it’s sooooo good.

Very nice restaurant with beautiful ocean view. You can visit it right after long hours of whale watching. Food is good and service as well. Will recommend to try their chowder and oysters, also their desserts are delicious. And, they have kids menu.
