Island Jerk - Huntsville

I had a great experience at this restaurant, especially thanks to a guy named Omar who was very helpful. It was my first visit, and I really enjoyed the oxtails—they were worth every penny and cooked to perfection. My friend ordered the curry chicken, which was incredibly tender and also excellent. They really give you a generous portion for the price, and the quality of the food is outstanding. Everything was spot on: the protein, the rice, the cabbage, and the plantains. I would rate it a perfect 10/10!

A coworker of mine, who grew up in Jamaica, recommended Island Jerk to me, claiming it offers the most authentic Jamaican food in the area. I decided to try the oxtail plate, which came with cabbage, rice, and plantains, and it was absolutely delicious! No exaggeration! The portion size was generous, and the flavors were outstanding. The customer service was excellent, and my order was served quickly. I would rate it a perfect 10/10! I will definitely be going back soon.

I walked in and initially thought the restaurant was closed because it was so empty. There weren’t many customers inside. However, I placed my order, and it turned out to be really delicious.

Friendly service the food is great you get large portions of rice peas. Looks like they give you a whole chicken cut up in small portions which is great. Love it

Took about 30 minutes to get our j chicken, but holy cow was it worth the wait! Flavors were amazing. We will definitely come back our next time in Huntsville.
