Great food and quick service! Love the California rolls and chicken fried rice! My wife and I eat here at least once a week!
My bf and I have been trying to come here for dine in multiple times and they were either closed or take-out only. We finally were able to sit down inside tonight. (Saturday 5pm) Everything we ordered was delicious. Would even say it's close to or better than I Love Sushi in Madison. We started with spicy edamame kani salad. We shared three sushi rolls- shaggy dog, sunshine roll, and fantasy melody roll. They were all amazing! And we were stuffed. I definitely recommend this place for dinner!! Only took off one star because of the inconvenience in trying to visit this restaurant and the inside felt slightly dirty (except at the tables)
Bottom line up front: this is a higher priced 3 star restaurant with great ambiance and soso food. My family tried this restaurant on Sunday. The plaza where the restaurant is located is usually packed; when we walked in we were the only ones here which is kind of telling on a Sunday during post church rush). The restaurant is tastefully decorated and has a good ambiance it is definitely a nice quiet place to go eat lunch where you can talk or bring a date. Wife ordered two different choices of sushi lunch special and I got the pork katsu. The kids meals that aren 't chicken and fries) are pretty steep $8 11), so this turned into a more pricey than usual $70+ meal. Miso soup was fine, I thought the pork katsu was a little dry. Wife was distinctly not a fan of the sushi: the salmon was flavorless and tasted like nothing . Service was good. Waitress was prompt and accurate. Probably will not be a regular restaurant for us at the cost/quality level.
Came here with the family the other night for dinner. While I wasn't expecting a Michelin-star experience, I certainly wasn't expecting what we got. The service was friendly, but the food and overall experience left much to be desired. One of our group ordered unsweetened tea (a cardinal sin in the South, bless their heart) and was brought sweetened tea twice before finally getting the correct drink. When dinner arrived for our party of seven, one order was missing. We had to ask the staff about it and were told there was a kitchen mix-up and the order was being remade. By the time our last member got their food, the rest of us were practically done eating. The food itself was just alright, but the portions were small. The steak and salmon combo platter had seven tiny pieces of steak and a salmon piece that barely weighed an ounce. The fried rice tasted dry, and while the veggies were okay, they didn't stand out. The salmon skin roll, though not typical in appearance, was good, and the gyoza was decent. I feel that if I had only ordered sushi, my experience might have been different, but it's hard to say. Overall, I wasn't impressed.
