UPDATE: The quality of the food has gone substantially downhill since the new owners took over. It is a huge shame since this was one of my favorite spots. Staff is still great, but the food isn't as good as it used to be. Pasta night is still a good deal, but I wouldn't pay full price anymore Old review under previous management: Portofino is a gem. I really cannot recommend this place enough. Whether you are getting pizza to go, or pasta and a chicken parm to dine in, the food is always excellent and reasonably priced. The staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating. I've so many good experiences here. For example, one time my wife ordered the Chicken Milanese, but after it arrived, realized she really wanted the Chicken Bruschetta. They took it back and fixed it up without hesitation, even though we ordered the wrong thing and the Chicken Bruschetta isn't even on the regular menu. The combination of food and service makes dining here a pleasure

Good classic italian american takeout. Chicken franchese was great. So was the avocado salad.

Food is good but service has gone down hill. They don't bring out all alcoholic drinks at the same time and always make one person in the group wait what seems to be a long time for theirs. Sometimes everyone is done with their drinks before the last one comes out. We can see that persons drink waiting for pickup at the bar too. Same with bringing plates of food, and clearing dirty dishes from the table, bringing and leaving checks, etc. They don't ask how you are paying and automatically add on the credit card charge. We never skimp on tip. Some of my friends refuse to eat here any more because the service is so sketchy. There are so many other places with better food and service to spend our hard earned money on in Huntington.
