California Pizza Kitchen

I'm really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. It felt as though they assumed we were trying to get a free meal. After we placed our order, the server never returned with our food. It took the manager 45 minutes to bring us just two pizzas. The dessert took an additional half hour, along with the bill. I noticed the manager served the tables right in front of us, but couldn't acknowledge us at all.

Although the server was polite, she rushed our order and brought out the main dish before we had finished our appetizers. After that, she vanished for the rest of the meal. We had no napkins, no refills on our drinks, and she never checked if we needed anything. I tried to get her attention during the meal, but it was difficult, even though the restaurant wasn’t full—less than half of the tables were occupied. It’s unfortunate because I genuinely enjoy some of the dishes they offer. However, after these last three experiences, both the food and service have declined, and I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.

This place is fantastic! I hadn't been here since I was a kid. The pizza was fresh, and our waitress was excellent! I have no complaints, although they could improve on cleaning around the tables a bit. However, that’s not enough to take away a star because the pizza and the spinach dip with chips were both a perfect 10/10!

Great food! Love that they have plant-based, vegetarian options. We got the plant-based barbecue chicken that came with smoked Gouda, and we added pineapple. Unbelievable! We had the pizza to go, and it was ready to wait for us when I went on.

I understand that I was at the restaurant 15 minutes before closing. But I would rather they told me that it was closed than to make a mess with my pizza.
