Slater's 50/50 - Huntington Beach

My first visit here will also be my last. To begin with, the boneless wings tasted like frozen chicken nuggets. The burger was bland, and my bacon was undercooked. The atmosphere felt unclean and musty, similar to the restrooms. When it was time to pay, the waitress abruptly took the card reader from me and didn’t offer me the chance to receive a receipt. Given all the positive reviews about this restaurant, I expected much better. It was truly a disappointing experience.

I always receive excellent service from Randy here; he's fantastic. The menu offers a great variety of options. I highly recommend the poki nachos, and the sliders are incredible—made with high-quality, juicy meat. The margarita pizza is delightful; the cheese, basil, and all the ingredients taste incredibly fresh. Food: 5/5.

It's a fantastic place to enjoy a meal while playing games at the same time. The full bar is definitely a nice touch, and the casual, sporty atmosphere adds to the experience. Just keep in mind that you need to pay for each individual game.

I have been here a few times now. Once was for a Christmas gathering, and a few times for happy hours. The staff is nice and friendly and the atmosphere and setting is welcoming, with nice lighting especially because of the windows throughout the restaurant.I came last Thursday and there was a special for $1 beers all days select beers as seen in the picture on the plastic frame) and special $3 shots. Also all other drinks are 2 for 1 during happy hours!I did not have much time there so I had the chicken tenders with fries and 2 Jameson with ginger beer, and a beer. It only cost $24 tip.I will be back.

I had no idea what to order when I got my 50/50 burger. Luckily, Nick Nap made me feel welcome, and showed me a new whiskey on the rocks i would've never tried before. This place is right by my house, and it was great experience. I can't wait to come back. Thank you guys.
