Raw By Slapfish - Huntington Beach

We are already here in november 2021. we then had a good experience, so we decided to return last week Friday (15th april) for a late lunch. the cheeseburgers were great. the chowder was delicious. the two cities pacific ananas cider was extremely good. we would go back to have the leash back. also try the fig mountain red. to surpass everything, robert has done a fantastic work that takes care of us. he was very attentive and sensitive to all our needs. we had luck with him coming this afternoon. robert really knows how to take care of customers. he makes the culinary experience very pleasant. he is the reason why I can give this rating 5 stars. we look forward to seeing him again.

We ordered several dishes: the shrimp ceviche, which could have used a bit of hot sauce, so we tried their house pineapple hot sauce, the seafood tower, steamed mussels, and a cup of clam chowder. While some of the dishes were a bit on the salty side, they were still enjoyable. The oysters were definitely the standout—after all, it's an oyster bar! I did notice a mix of seafood quality; some dishes seemed a bit lower in quality while others, like the seafood tower, were exceptional. Overall, though, we were very happy with our meal and would definitely return.

I always enjoy visiting this place. When I went there on a summer weekend, even though it was cloudy outside, it was so crowded that every seat was filled, both inside and out. On this visit, I arrived for happy hour. They only have two options for happy hour drinks, but they are fresh and well-chilled. Their shrimp is also cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this spot for groups, a few friends, or even just for some alone time.

Absolutely amazing! I can’t stop raving about this poke. The flavors are spot on! Unlike many places, they don’t drown the fish in sauce; instead, the sauce enhances the perfectly cut pieces of tuna. They don’t just serve leftovers or scraps like so many others do. The petite lobster was the perfect size, served with fries or a salad. You can really taste the quality in the lobster as well. This size is great because it allows you to try a variety of things on the menu. The fish and chips are phenomenal—super crisp and top-notch quality! I hate to say I didn’t take a picture, but to all the Porto fans out there, you must try the lobster! Lobster, cheese, and potatoes together are a must. I’ll definitely grab a photo next time!

I have been a regular at both Slapfish and Rawbar. The food is always amazing, as well as the service and atmosphere. They also offer great discounts for military and first responders!
