Thai-Garden Mikado - Hunibach

After having visited this restaurant last summer, we decided to go back and were again not disappointed. We drove one hour to get there, it was worth it. The food was also this time excellent and we will go there again, whenever in the area. There is a big choice of wonderful dishes, something for everybody

Thai Garden gives the impression of being a family friendly, local community spot. It was one of the only places open on a rainy Sunday night and we luckily got a table around 8pm. The grocery store a few doors down had free parking, making it easy to get in and out. Entrees were more than we’re used to, but on par for Switzerland and the food tasted great (vegetarian spring roll, tilapia with green curry for my husband and vegetarian pad Thai for me). Friendly servers even gave us tips on where to visit. Definitely recommended!

Food was fine, and the lady that served us was nice, but the man who was also serving that night was pretty rude and dismissive of us, especially when we wanted to pay and is card machine wasn’t working, he grunted and couldn’t put more than 3 english word in a row when speaking to us (and we’re not fluent in german) and he got mad when i left for a atm neaby to pay him, i guess you get treated better when you’re a local a this place ‍

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. It took us literally to Thailand again, as for the delicious food and for the kind service. Beautiful place as well. Highly recommended!
