The Manor - Hummelstown

We enjoyed a great meal at the restaurant. They offered some unique appetizers and an extensive selection of entrees, including steaks, pasta, pizza, burgers, and more. The menu also featured daily specials. The beer selection was good, with several craft options available. To add to the atmosphere, there was live music during our visit. The service was excellent as well. We will definitely be returning!

There were a few minor issues that could have made the experience even better. We arrived shortly after 5 PM, but we were charged full price for our first two drinks. My phone showed 4:57 while we were in the parking lot, so it seems we missed happy hour by just a minute. Additionally, our waitress didn’t inform us about that evening’s special; we only found out about it from the bartender after we had already placed our orders. I definitely would have chosen the special if I had known. Lastly, I noticed that a burger was priced at $11, which is $4 more than what nearby restaurants charge.

This restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere and serves fresh food in a modern mansion setting. I ordered the fish sandwich with fries, and it was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. My aunt had the taco salad, and she also said it was fantastic. We definitely plan to return!

This is a great place for dinner. We'll be right there when they opened and sat at the bar. The service was excellent, like the food. I split some crabs with shrimps and bacon wrapped scallops with my guy, and our friend had a great burger. The bartender was super nice and friendly; it was like a meal in a friend's house.

Best meal we had all week. We got the chicken Chesapeake, which was a very good thing grilled chicken breast covered with a crab cake and your choice of melted cheese. The broccoli served as a side was seasoned very well and had parmesan on it as well. The Mac Cheese was very rich and creamy, with loads of sauce. We also ordered the bacon wrapped bbq scallops. They were tender, juicy and cooked perfectly. Both the original and sweet potato fries were great too. Ranch dressing was homemade. This place just does everything right. Not a fancy place by any means, but dim the lights, add white table clothes, and it sure could be. We will be back. Would definitely drive out of my way to visit again.
