Pivovar U Medveďa - Humenne

Well, m6 parents live to go there, as it's quiet cozy and the food is great. And they serve their own local beer which is actually quite good. I was surprised.

10 proof beer is excellent, my favorite! Probably best beer the city and Humenne region. It’s coming from small brewery, which is always a BIG PLUS in my book! They should seriously start developing their food with this beer like gulash, grilled specialties and so on. It should be in the centre of their food and marketing. Food is OK in general, it really depends what you order but overall it’s slightly above Slovak average. In summary an experience worth taking in Humenne!

They offer a great variety of different beers, but you have to be lucky as sometimes the run out of the more exotic ones. Food is hearty and tasty.

Craft beer was a bit average but certainly worth a look.

I am not able to rate this higher, because they don’t speak english and don’t even bother to try understand : neither english, nor polish.
