Truong An - Hue

There are a variety of traditional Hue dishes available, all prepared fresh and in just the right portion size. The service is fast and efficient, and overall it is a excellent discovery in Hue.

I’ve returned after almost 4 years and it is even better than I recall. No mock meat, a great com of the day, light tasty spring rolls, free water. Extensive menu. Tofu rolled in seaweed, eggplant grilled with chilli and peanuts, vegan com hen with rice crackers, spring rolls were our choices. All delicious, all 20,000 VND. Corn drink and beer on the drink menu. Quiet, very clean, humble friendly staff. Menu has images for all items, so despite it all being written in Vietnamese it’s easy to identify dishes. I will return! It is delightful to visit a restaurant with Buddhist ethics of not killing harming any living beings. Updated from previous review on 2019-03-30

This restaurant is great! The prices are affordable and the service is quick, likely because it was not busy when we visited.

The entire menu is in Vietnamese and the staff only speak Vietnamese, making communication difficult. Half of the dishes we ordered were delicious, while the other half lacked flavor. There are many options available, but we were unsure if all of them were completely vegan.

Im glad we stopped by this place. We loved everything we ordered. The food here was also very inexpensive.
