Pura Vida Fisheries - Hudson

Never been to their brick and mortar but have bought fish from their stand at the Union Square farmers market on Fridays. The man in charge of their kiosk i find to be moody and not friendly to all customers. I guess he doesn't realize the impact upon certain customers. Smile buddy it won't kill ya!

This restaurant is fantastic! The fish is incredibly fresh, and the women who run it are not only super nice but also very talented chefs. It truly offers the best seafood for miles around. I've tried just about everything on the menu, and I can't get enough of their crab cake sandwiches. They haven't been open recently, perhaps due to changed hours for the holidays, but I hope they're all doing well and will be back open soon!

My husband just brought home some fried cod. It was excellent, fresh, and delicious!

Their sea food is fresh. You can see it and taste it. They have a nice little menu as well. From lobster Mac and cheese to crab cake sandwich you can't beat this place.

The food here is fantastic, made to order just for you. You can choose your seafood fresh from their fish market and let them know how you’d like it prepared, and soon you've got a delicious dinner. Everything is made to order, including salads and appetizers, so it might take a bit longer, but it's absolutely worth the wait. This is definitely the best seafood around—there's nothing better in Hudson or Albany!
