I go on a weekdays with a friend for a catch-up lunch, so it is generally quiet and we can easily book a table. The food is lovely and reasonably priced. We had lunch, drinks and coffee and stayed around three hours last time we were there. The staff are really friendly and efficient. We really enjoy our visits. Cheap and Cheerful, friendly staff, food is always good. Atmosphere is good too. Kid-friendliness: They have a little play area, it’s nothing to look at really but kids love playing on it all. Really nice bar busy good atmosphere but we chose this place because we had a child and knew there was a decent beer garden and a playground but the playground was all locked up and no access to it so even though the sun was shining we ended up indoors which wasn't the most pleasant place as outdoors had been our desired experience.
