Mr Goose Linsen Branch - Hualien City

The service is fine but the goose and chicken meat is a bit tough.

It's a bit of an institution in Hualien City, and really should be better. The goose meat is pretty good, but a bit expensive, and everything else is a bit below par. Service is variable, ranging from OK to really poor, and the environment is pretty basic, the new Linsen Road location not even having the hawker-stall ambiance that makes its original shop on Zhongshan road a bit of local color.

Decent food, but on the expensive side. They primarily specialize in duck meat, as their name would imply, and I found the taste to be pretty good all said. I think it's worth checking out, just be aware of the price
