Baan Dum Oceanfront Seafood - Hua Hin

Good place for authentic Thai food. Fair price compare to the environment. Service is good but handling the repeat orders and mosquitos need to be improved. Overall are ok.

It is a nice restaurant, all outdoors, right on the beachside. Tables are spread out on the lawn and well distanced. There was a live singer who was pleasant to listen to. Service was good and attentive and good came quickly. Our meal was mainly seafood and a chicken wing starter which was delicious. All other menu items were tasty and made to the Thai palate which is nice. Fried prawn cakes, pad Thai, spring rolls, larb all together made for a nice meal with the family. Would we come back again, I’m not so sure as I did not find a flavour hook which draws you to a place. That being said, it was food of a good standard with nice service from the team and a lovely beachfront atmosphere. Prices were decent, and dessert was very tasty. Ample parking. Get there before sunset to enjoy the beach view.

I just felt hungry so went eat there. Taste : I feel like not much MSG, less sugar. Good enough. Price : Dishes are ok but coconut water is 140baht each. Even in Bangkok, not that.... Nonsense price. I paid 1400 1500 for 2 people. (3dishes=,2rices and 2coconut water) Mood : Casual Jazz?! I cannot recommend to young people but it is quite cozy. Service : Overall fine but 3 4staffs repeated to ask How 's the taste of food? . So unpleasant ans disturbed. The manager there might train them again. General rivew : With the budget 1,500bahts,in Bangkok, I can eat better food than here. I heard that this is under the Movenpick.... Hmmm.. It makes me not go to Movenpick hua hin because of this.

Incredibly delicious fresh Thai seafood dishes at a very reasonable prices. The old house is right on the beach, the lovely sea breeze made alfresco dining rather enjoyable. Service is excellent. As I can't take too spicy food, the server was very helpful in suggesting alternative style cooking of the ingredients for me. Highly recommend this place.

The customer service here is unmatched, the view is immaculate and the food is awesome! Jiew was our waitress and I wish we could clone her and put her in all restaurants across the world!!! We love it here!!!
