Wild West - Houston

Safe and easy to park. There's always control over the door. You have an entrance fee, but some nights good drinks are available all night. It is a good place for two steps.

Wild West is a great place for country dance. Houston has an amazing culture of the country and this is a good place to find a good time. Wild West Dance Saloon. If you like dancing, come to Wild West. Fridays and Saturdays are packed. There are several bars. There are dance classes on certain nights. Good size dance floor. They also play other types of music during the night.

Our first time in Texas and some of our friends brought us to Wild West. How we introduced ourselves to a Texan bar. Full people wear boots and cowboy hats. Neon marks behind the bar, your choice of beer and whiskey and pool tables when you open your game. The place is large and has a huge dance floor where people would do the occasional linedancing when the right song was on. People who have a great time and the occasional Yeeeehaaaaaw or whuuuu from the locals who have a good time can be heard. Definitely with a visit for a good time!

GREAT PLACE! I went here for the first time with some friends on the other night and we had such an explosion. The music was great. I knew every single song that arrived. Everyone is beautiful and you do not find stuck people in this place. Everyone dances away the night, just with a good time. It was a bit overcrowded, so from time to time in rotation on the dance floor you pushed into others, but no one insulted it or was annoyed. Everybody keeps dancing and turns away. There were a few older guys who only dance as their life depends on it and it just made me smile from ear to ear. I definitely come back. I think I found my new favorite place this weekend. Will come for the Line Dance classes

A great atmosphere with a very friendly crowd. The drinks and entry are not too expensive. If you don't like the midtown atmosphere then try this place out. Two stepping is easy to learn for a beginner and you can only get better. Also, if you don't have a partner to dance with, don't worry, there are very friendly people that are happy to share a dance with you. I had a great time!
