Tiny's No. 5 - Houston

They have updated the chairs. A plus. They got rid of order in line. A plus. They still lack enough staff. So still slow. The coffee is still weird. It should be delicious. They don’t give you spoons to mix your cream into coffee. They don’t bring plates to share the pastry tray. Also, the tables are too small for four people. So uncomfortable. It’s a beautiful place. A huge plus.

Great food and wonderful service. Had couple of business meetings there and they took care of us really well.

A big step backwards. The loss of the counter service model means inefficiency. One of the reasons I loved Tiny 's was because it was so efficient and new couches don 't make up for having to wait without a drink, just to finally get to a table and wait some more. This is way less family friendly too. It felt plenty upscale before and I have the feeling that this decision will backfire as more people decide the wait isn 't worth it.

The avocado toast with salmon and sundried tomatoes is a must! Add an Americano or a fresh squeezed juice, and you can't go wrong. The food is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is bright and cheery, and there is a nice patio as well. I highly recommend.

Wonderful place, really nice people, great food. They did a great job with the remodel but the new table service system is not efficient. Miss ordering at the counter.
