We've visited several times, enjoyed a good amount of drinks responsibly, and yet he decided we were cut off while allowing numerous loud, rowdy men to overindulge without any concern. It's disappointing that someone like him would try to stop us from enjoying a responsible and fun experience. On the positive side, our server was fantastic! It's just a shame that he allows other guests to drink excessively in a chaotic environment while treating us this way.
If you're searching for a nice place to take your date, I recommend looking elsewhere. The atmosphere was incredibly unfriendly. After sitting for 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us or even offering a menu, I decided to approach the manager myself. When I asked for a menu, he came over to our table just to inform us that we could leave because he could deny us service. There was no valid reason given—just poor service all around. Five staff members stood at the entrance and watched us seated without a greeting. To make matters worse, the tables were still dirty from previous customers. This place has really gone downhill. The old Ojos had certain standards when it came to their staff; now it seems they just rent help. The new manager is a complete joke.
I've been to this restaurant several times, and each time I've encountered a bartender named Jen who has an unpleasant attitude. Whenever I or someone else tries to order a drink, she often ignores us or gives a rude look. I've left the place because of her on multiple occasions. I also encountered another waitress who asked if it was okay to serve me after I had crossed my limit, even though I had only had two drinks. I strongly recommend addressing these issues before they negatively affect your establishment.
I ordered a few drinks, but one of them was not the one I asked. When I asked the waitress to change the drink or take it back, she said she wouldn't, because the manager wouldn't leave her and that I had to pay for it. Service wasn't good. Visit to your own danger.
My coworkers and I came for happy hour and it was not a happy hour. We got sat down with Kay and it was all good. She attended to us and was great until she wasn?t on our shift. She switched shifts with Sarah. Sarah attended to us twice within 2 hours. We asked for more shots from her and she told us no and that we were too drunk. No one in our group was rowdy and drunk. She said the manager told her to watch out for us and we were drinking too much. We have a party of 8 and we were just trying to hang out. We asked for more drinks and our server Sarah told us no. We had to order food. We were not hungry. We ordered food so that we could order more drinks. She was really rude when I tried to order more drinks and stood around and did not serve us. Come to think of it, is it because we are POC?
