Luby's - Houston

My family has been visiting this restaurant for years! My mother even travels from the southeast side of the city just to dine here. The space is clean overall, and the customer service is excellent. The food is served hot and is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place!

On a previous visit, I had the soup and salad combo for under $8 at Luby’s cafeteria. The chicken rice soup was delicious, accompanied by a lime salad, and the portions were generous and satisfying. The soup was filled with chicken and had a nice jello with blackberry to finish it off. The staff were attentive to our needs. I’d definitely order the soup and salad again!

Fantastic food and excellent service! This restaurant has everything ready to go. The person preparing the plates is very generous with portions, unlike some other places. There was no wait, and plenty of convenient seating available. The restaurant is well-maintained, and the staff is attentive to your needs without being intrusive. There’s also a parking area with numerous designated spaces for those with disabilities. It's reassuring to know that the Houston Police Department has visited this establishment, adding a sense of security while dining. I can't wait to come back! Be sure to try one of their various dessert options—the carrot cake was incredible!

The personal is very friendly, everyone works carefully to ensure that the needs of the customer are met! my mother love (which is very picky) will not go anywhere else for her fried cats, and I can't think of another place outside if my own kitchen, that I would rather have my favorite livers and be dazzled! we were honored that the koch mr. dallas comes out to ensure that we were satisfied! that is in the years of service at this place the fall, not leaving me smiling from the door! many thanks!

I usually come to Luby's with my Pops. Contrary to popular belief, it's not just for old people! It can be a little pricey depending on what you get, but the food is pretty good. I usually get the turkey or roast beef but the salads are good too!
