Kura Sushi is a Japanese popular sushi restaurant chain. This location is more clean than the other Kura at Sugarland. Definitely a different dining experience. Food is on a conveyor belt whether it’s ordered or pre-made. Food was tasty. If you wait a couple trips and don’t see anything you like, you can order from the menu and have it freshly prepared. Each plate is roughly $3.20 depending on what you order. Drinks are brought to your table by a little machine. Cute.Please pay attention to the instructions you’re given on how to select food from the conveyor. People wasted food because they opened the container improperly and missed the dish.

I went here for my birthday, I was very happy and pleased! Though the price of plates have went up over years, it's a good portion, and they're very yummy.Only complaint about the food in general is how it may be cold by the time it gets to you, and the restock on the conveyor belt isn't frequent, but nothing that ordering from the screen can't solve.The robot is very cute. I loved ordering drinks from it! But only complaint is that it may swoosh/splash around open top drinks, and make a bit of a mess with them. On one occasion it got lost, but rerouted itself. Don't let that deter you, it's a unique and amusing experience.I loved the atmosphere it's better created with friends and family. Ginger is on the table for your use, and every 5 plates you get this cute animation.While things are mostly self serve, don't forget the staff! They were speedy and friendly as well.Now, I will say, expect to pay some good money for this service, but it's definitely worth it. :

Food was not good. Rice had way too much vinegar. Tamago was a horrible sponge. Real crab tasted like canned food. Ramen was okay but very small portion. Service was great. Waitress was very kind to my 3 little ones. Gave them the “free” toy that that you after 15 dishes. Contained a tiny magnet for the Tetris theme banner they got going on. As I was grabbing the plate to return, it felt very sticky. Top and bottom… very gross underneath. I’m sure these get stacked like any other plate so our food is definitely contaminated.

Never had a bad experience here! I love the staff and the food! We visit as often as we can and since it’s charged by the plate we never have to worry about whether we can afford it or not. The price is awesome for such good quality food!
