Don Juan Authentic Mexican

We have eaten at this don juan location several times per month for a long time. Today we went to lunch they were busy, the owner was at the Hostess station, I asked about our favorite server (he is very helpful with my man and we need the help.) the owner looked at me and said very rude that he is busy when they want him, they will wait 30 minutes or more! we had time and agreed to sit in another area, we should have left. I've never been spoken so rudely, my man, who is usually not observant, said wow as rude. had she said he was busy, but I'm gonna sit you in his section as soon as possible, I would have understood and we would be sitting somewhere else. we find another Mexican restaurant, we are happy to have several in hot springs. we will not be back to this don juan location.

The waitress was ok, but eating was amazing. would be highly recommended. I have pollo loco and husband a gigante burrito. so good!

My family and I loved this place and everything about it. Unfortunately, the last couple of times we were in there, everything was terrible. every time our rice was cold, tasteless, muddy and overcooked. they were very liquid, and bore. the salsa was very bland and watery. the chips were very stable. the cheese dive was tasteless and old. the chicken in our meals was completely tasteless, seasonal and undercooked. my dads fajitas were freezing, stale and dry. they looked like they were sitting in a steam table for days. when this was brought out, it was not steaming at all. all steak and huh was dry, tasteless and disgusting. his tears and his ancestors were disgusting and tasted like the rest of us. When some of us asked for new things, our waitress crossed their poor and got very crisp and rude with us. When she asked why we didn't like it, she tried to argue with us about it. we all looked at each other and asked ourselves if we wanted to go somewhere else. we all said immediately that we would not pay for it, all got up and went out. we have decided that we will not return to this place. after that we had all the terrible **** in our munde that remained from eating for the rest of the day. it was terrible.

My friend and I went to this restaurant, and the server added an extra tip of about $11 to our bill! This place is truly disappointing. Since my friend and I look quite young, I feel like the server took advantage of us.
