Charlie's Pizza Pub

Last year, my family and I ordered pizza and enjoyed it at our accommodation in the village. It was fantastic! This year, we did the same thing, placed our order, and were told when it would be ready. However, when we arrived, our pizzas were just being put in the oven. Once we took them back to our place, the pizza was nowhere near as good as what we had a year ago. The cheese on one of the pepperoni pizzas tasted terrible, and the chicken pizza I ordered was just average. We won’t be trying this place again.

This wasn't our first visit to Charlie's. We often travel in the area and have been here before. While I wasn’t overly impressed during my last visit, this time was fantastic. The pizza was incredibly delicious, and the service was flawless. We arrived on a Tuesday night, and the bar was bustling with activity since it was karaoke night. It was enjoyable to eat while listening to people sing. I also misplaced my receipt and returned the following day to request a copy. The woman at the counter was very kind and searched her computer to provide me with a copy. I would definitely recommend this place!

The food was quite good, and the service was quick and efficient. The location was conveniently near the lake.

Good pizza, food was good, service was good. They had live music on Friday night. We got onion rings, they were good and came with homemade ranch to dip them in. You also got a good size serving for the price. Then came the BBQ nachos. They were ok (not great), the meat was a bit fatty and that threw off the texture and taste of the nachos. The chips were also stale. The cheese dip was good as were the other toppings, we just didn't care for the pork itself. The star of the show was the super pizza. We will be getting this again. It has been several years since we have been to this restaurant and we will be back. They also had live music on Friday which was nice.
