I can recommend this place safely.
After cycling the furkapass we stayed past late lunch. the staff was great and friendly and the burgers were among the best we had for a very long time. home made brot and juicy house made burger without ant-fuss. some cold beautiful limonade. made this lunch a great memory. we'll come back when we come back.
We had originally immersed in the hotel on the search for accommodation, but discovered it was from our price class (we had planned on camping, but it was pouring with rain!; but the staff was friendly enough to show us over the road to more...influencable accommodation. we decided to come back and eat in the hotel and were not disappointed. we all had the set menu with suppe, pasta and dessert, which each was delicious! in particular, the banana cake was to die with cocosnus dash cream! for the service and eating I would definitely recommend!
We have emerged as some friends stay in the hotel, but the service was so shocking bad that we ended up to foot. if I want a terrifying service and really rude fellow workers in a ski holiday, I go to France. It’s not really important to me if. that’s “not my table” or “I’ll be with them in a minute” but 20 minutes to get a menu is ridiculous when the terrace is half empty and there are 4 people talking to each other. all I can say is to saalbach behindglemm for a good Austrian hospitality. the burg hotel holds it in france.
We had originally popped into the hotel looking for accommodation but discovered it was out of our price range (we had been planning on camping but it was pouring with rain!;) however, the staff were kind enough to point us across the road to more affordable accommodation. We decided to come back and eat at the hotel and were not disappointed. We all had the set menu with soup, pasta and dessert - each of which was delicious! In particular, the banana cake with coconut whipped cream was to die for! For the service and the food, I would definitely recommend!
