Amazing food and the nicest service. My wife and I often ride up to Horseshoe Bend from Boise just to stop at Sonora's!

It seems the cat is out of the bag anyway, so might as well broadcast my kudos to Sonora Restraunt in Horseshoe Bend. I drove past it for years but finally stopped a couple years ago with friends after rafting. It 's a great place for large groups especially sitting outside. Portion sizes are large; I always come home with 1+ meals left over. We 've taken many people now most claim it to be the best Tex/Mex food around.

I eat at Sonora's probably once a week, give our take. My go to are the enchiladas, nachos, tamales and shrimp taco's. The food is amazing and portions are excellent! Also I absolutely adore Olivia. She's always kind and recognize me when I call in an order.

Came here at the recommendation of a local, and everything is great! The service is good, our waitress was extremely friendly and the food was even better. I got the horchata, rolled tacos, tortilla soup and loved everything especially the tortilla soup! This is best Mexican food I've had in quite a while and hit the spot.
