Sullivans Fish Chips

Since moving from Hull to Barton, we haven't even considered trying another place; Sullivan in Hornsea is our go-to. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Their new manager, Jane, is exceptional. One time, we arrived after closing, but she kindly reopened for us, knowing how far we had traveled. Jane is wonderful, going above and beyond to ensure everyone is satisfied. The restaurant is very organized, and everything runs smoothly. What more could you ask for? The lovely, polite staff provide first-class service, complemented by a fantastic fish and chip dinner. Thanks to Jane (I hope that's her name), we would go anywhere for their fish and chips and delightful service. It's truly first-class all the way!

I was recently introduced to Yorkshire fishcakes from Sullivan's Chippy in Hornsea. I had heard of them before under a different name. I have to admit, these were the best I've ever had! They were cooked to perfection, with a generous amount of fish between two slices of potato. Absolutely perfect. I placed my order, and then, voilà... the best fishcake in Hornsea!

The young waitress who served us yesterday around 4 PM provided excellent customer service. The food was enjoyable, and while the chips were slightly dry, as mentioned in another review, that's typical of many chip shops. The fish, however, was absolutely delightful.

We had a beautiful birthday party here. the ladies who set up the table and sorted the cake for us were simply fantastic, they could not have been more helpful patient and friendly. we were a very mixed group and nothing was too much annoyed. the fish was perfect, fluffy flakes from squid fish that were melted with a crispy teig in the mouth, and I am a trawler dumper daughter so I know good fish when I taste it and that was super. Many thanks, dear ladies and all the workers in sullivans.
