I've tried the pork sandwiches, BBQ spaghetti, and the Mac n'cue, all of which were delightful. The desserts are also amazing and come in large servings. The Mac n'cue is the only dish that's not served in the same hefty portions as the others, priced at $12.99; I would suggest lowering the price by a dollar.
I wish they would bring the chili back. Several of my colleagues used to visit just for that dish, but now they don’t come anymore. Everything else on the menu is excellent!
Joshua at the bar was an absolute blast! My friends and I love to have a good time, and Joshua jumped right in with us, making our visit on January 16th the most enjoyable we've had in a while! The food was fantastic as well!
We came here after seeing it on a rerun of Diners DriveIns and Dives (Guy Fieri is my soulmate). I got the crunch burger (cheeseburger with a house made pork rind on it), because i saw it on the show but it apparently is a secret menu item (hasn’t been on the menu for years but you can tell order it). I asked for one patty because two is plain carnage, in my opinion. I’m glad I did because there was no way I would have fit a double burger that size in my mouth without removing my mandible. It was delicious!!! So so good. Fries were amazing. The burger was so so messy haha but that’s no big deal. I did find that the pork rind was chewy and unpleasant towards the middle of the burger due to the juices and sauces making it not crispy anymore. My husband got the combo platter (sliced brisket and sausage) with Mac and cheese and fried okra as the sides. The brisket was actually some of the best I’ve ever had. The sauces on the table were so so good. The Mac and cheese and okra were good, but was outshined by everything else for sure. The star of the show was the sausage!!!! So smoky, seasoned to perfection, texture was perfect. I could come back daily for that sausage. We also got the cheese fritters to start and they were gooey heaven. Served on honey mustard which may not be your go-to sauce for fried cheese but it was AMAZING. they also serve pork rinds for the table for free and they were good. Pork rinds 7.5/10 Cheese fritters 8.5/10 Crunch burger 8.5/10 Fries 8/10 Brisket 9/10 Mac and cheese 7.5/10 Okra 7.5/10 Sausage 27/10 (Guy fieri if you see this i love you so much)
Was recommended this restaurant by a work colleague. Super not impressed. Mac n cheese tasted/looked cheap and this item as well as the cornbread seemed like it had been sitting out a while before being served. Sauces are on the table and your food is served on a tray. This isn’t the issue, however the sauce is super thin so it spreads out as you you place it on your tray. The three sauces they have to offer are: classic, sassy and bold. Don’t ask me what they mean because the bottles do not explain and I cannot taste a difference. All of the food was just mid. Trust me, I’ve had worse. But I’m not going home to tell everyone about Memphis barbecue co.
