Wonderful fine dining like experience in Hopefield! Front stoep is a perfect setting for a golden hour drink and dinner. Food is exquisite and G's friendliness and accommodating manner tops it all. 90 minute wait for nachos and a burger with zero other customers in the restaurant. The food was unfortunately not good. The nachos was sopping wet and the burger was alright. Waiter constantly hiding away what a struggle trying to get another drink only to find out our waiter is cooking the food too as the chef was a no show. No management in sight. This is on a Saturday afternoon lunch time. This is a failure of a business and I highly recommend not wasting your time coming to this establishment. Very unfortunate as I am a Hopefield local.

Had dinner tonight there. Truly one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Do yourself a favour and make a turn you will not be disappointed. We celebrated my husband's birthday here. And what a wonderful decision to come here.. We cannot fault this place at all. From contacting them on whatsapp to book, right up to receiving our food, the service was simply excellent. The owner is a fabulous host. The waiter (benito) was so friendly and kind. But let's get to the most important part : the food.. It was DELICIOUS! We had the rump steak and the beer battered pork and both were amazing. Steak was cooked perfectly and so was the pork. We can only recommend this place very highly. Thank you so much for making my husband's birthday special.
