I give this two stars based on their poor customer service and disorganization. One extra star, as I've had a good experience previously, but it seems to have gone downhill in recent years. When we arrived there was a line, as usual. We expected this and put our names down. We were told it would be 30 minutes. After 30 minutes we went in to get an update on our table and they advised that it would be another 30 minutes. There was no apology, just stated in a matter of fact manner. And during all this time they had been seating other parties as they showed up. I can't speak to the quality of food as we never got the opportunity to sit down. Poor service for what was once a good restaurant. We ended up going down the street to triple O's, which quite frankly, probably has similar quality food anyways. If you're passing through Hope, I suggest eating somewhere else.

Classic diner feel, food and service! Theres one waitress who has so much personality, I was disappointed last time I ate here that I didn't get seated in her section! The food here is EXACTLY what you expect from a little diner, and sometimes that's EXACTLY what you want to eat. The highlight is the massive pieces of pie you can get!I try to stop here whenever I'm driving through hope!

We gad takeout as we had our dog with us. We are from Vancouver Island and had a friend tell us to stop here for food. I'm certainly glad we dud. The food was very good. Hopefully, next time, we can eat inside, as we will definitely stop here

My wife and I stopped at this restaurant for breakfast on our way home from Maple Ridge to Calgary. I ordered the veggie option which included 3 poached eggs (medium), hash browns, and sourdough toast, while my wife had the Eggs Benny with medium poached eggs. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the service was fantastic. The coffee was delicious. We also bought a bumble berry pie to take home, which was absolutely delicious. Thank you, Home, for a wonderful meal!
